By accessing or using SwiftLemon (https://swiftlemon.com, "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2. Nature of Client-Side Service & Local Cache

SwiftLemon provides in-browser software utilities for image compression/conversion, CSS/SVG background generation, JSON formatting/diffing, social card previewing, and payment fee estimation. All processing occurs locally within your device's web browser memory.

The Local Result Cache and Pinned Shelf features utilize your browser's local storage (localStorage) for convenience only. Browser storage is volatile and may be cleared by browser updates, private/incognito browsing modes, or storage quota limits. SwiftLemon is not a cloud storage or backup service; you are solely responsible for downloading and backing up your files and outputs to your permanent storage device.

3. User Content Ownership & Generated Assets License

• Your Files: You retain 100% ownership, copyright, and legal responsibility for all images, code, text, and data you process locally in your browser using SwiftLemon.
• Generated Outputs: All CSS gradients, SVG waves, PNG backgrounds, HTML meta tags, and formatted outputs created using SwiftLemon tools may be used freely by you for both personal and commercial projects without attribution or royalties.
• Acceptable Use: You agree not to use the Service to process unlawful material or attempt to disrupt, scrape, frame, or abuse the Service infrastructure.

4. SwiftLemon Intellectual Property

The SwiftLemon name, domain, logo, original 3D SwiftLemon Mascot character illustrations and animations, user interface design, and underlying application source code are the proprietary intellectual property of SwiftLemon and its creator. You may not copy, redistribute, clone, or resell the SwiftLemon website, brand identity, or mascot artwork without prior written permission.

5. Third-Party Trademarks & Non-Affiliation Notice

All third-party product names, logos, and brands referenced within our tools—including but not limited to Stripe, PayPal, Wise, Google, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Meta, LinkedIn, and Discord—are the property and registered trademarks of their respective owners. Reference to these platforms inside our previewers or fee calculators is strictly for comparative, educational, and interoperability simulation purposes. SwiftLemon is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these third-party companies.

6. No Financial, Tax, Accounting, or Legal Advice

The Freelance & Payment Fee Calculator and all related financial utilities provide mathematical estimates based on publicly available standard processing rates. Actual merchant processing fees vary by jurisdiction, currency conversion spreads, account tier, cross-border status, and processor terms that may change without notice. Calculations provided by SwiftLemon are for informational estimation only and do not constitute financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Always verify current fee schedules directly with your payment processor before issuing binding commercial invoices.

7. Ad-Free Pro Supporter License & Refund Policy

Core utilities on SwiftLemon are provided free of charge. Users may optionally purchase a one-time $10 USD Lifetime Ad-Free Pro Supporter License Key via our authorized Merchant of Record checkout (Creem) to permanently suppress advertisement containers across all current and future SwiftLemon utilities. License keys are delivered immediately upon checkout completion and activated locally inside the "Support & Go Ad-Free" dialog. If you experience any issue with your license key or are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing [email protected].

8. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")

THE SERVICE AND ALL TOOLS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SWIFTLEMON DOES NOT WARRANT THAT TOOL OUTPUTS, FILE CONVERSIONS, OR FEE CALCULATIONS WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

9. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SWIFTLEMON, ITS CREATORS, OR OPERATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, CORRUPTED FILES, LOST PROFITS, INVOICE DISCREPANCIES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
